Prayers needed.

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days
I'm having some health issues and could use some prayers/positive thoughts
I had some testing done today and will have a procedure done next week
I won't lie, I am scared but I know that God is in charge.
I have to brag about my new blog...
Shaina did my re-design and I couldn't love it more!
She is super talented and as sweet as can be.
(You can find a link to her blog in the left column)

On a happier note, Koby's baseball team has been invited to play in the
Little League World Series, July 12-19 in Edmond, OK!
We are super excited and working our tails off to find sponsors.
Enjoy your weekend, I will update soon :)

Call off the hits.

Call off the hits!
The bride and groom loved their album.
The wedding was amazing. Ashli has impeccable taste.
I took a ton of photos but will just share some of my favorites.

Here is my cousin, Nick, with his beautiful bride Ashli:

Roman is totally in love, all night long he told me "Mommy, I am still watching the princess".

When the princess came over to see him he totally clammed up though ;)

Here's a photo of her bouquet; peony, gerber daisy, calla lily, hydrangea, roses...can you say to die for?

Here's me in the middle of my little sisters:
And Koby, Mia and I

(just ignore my bra. Hey, at least I have one on!) And Nick, going in for the garter...

That boy is always prepared LMAO
Mia dancing with her Daddy

And I will leave you with the highlight of the evening...
My father after a few too many. I couldn't have been more proud.

Sick of SCRAP!

I never want to scrapbook again.
I retire. The end.
A vow of scrap-celibacy.

I have just spent half of my life making a wedding scrapbook for my cousin.
The wedding is Saturday. I started making the book on Monday.
Yes, I know I procrastinated and it's my fault I was on such a crazy deadline...
But it is done. All 30 pages.
And so am I.
Here is a small sampling of the book:

I pray that he and his new wife love it, if not, I may beat them to death. I kid, I kid. All teasing and sarcasm aside, I am very excited for them.

I can't wait to see Ashli's dress, she is going to be a beautiful bride. As for my cousin, Nick, I'm sure he will be beet red standing at the end of the aisle! He is a tad shy but one of the nicest guys you will meet.

Onto the heathens that call me Mommy...

They have been begging for sno-cones for weeks now. After Koby's game last night we finally caved. Here is the fun that ensued.

Koby, thrilled to finally have his shave ice! (what they call it in Maui. What, you didn't know I am a Maui girl trapped in Missouri? Being landlocked is brutal.)Roman either eating his or putting his nose in it, still not quite sure.

And then, the diva.
No Mia, they don't have fresh guava & lilikoi shave ice here in Missou-rah.
Yes honey, I know you miss Maui too
Just like her mama, so hard to please.

And just for sharts and giggles here is the newest trend in swimwear, brought to you by Koby & Mia:That is all, nothing else to see here

Be on your merry way.

First Card Class

Can I just say how much I LOVE the new Early Bird line from Cosmo Cricket?!?
It is so vintage-retro yummy.
I will be teaching my first card class at The Scrapbook Workshoppe and here is what I have created for it. What do you think?
Have a great Wednesday!

No, this is not an ad for Crush but you'd think it was!
There is just something about 3 kiddos that rarely get sugary drinks each having their own bottle of Orange Crush. It's like Christmas or something! Oh to be a kid again...

And then bring out the water slide...
Instant summer memories.

Thanks for sliding by :)

Far too long

My life has been so crazy lately! I keep saying "tonight is the night I will blog" and it never happens. In the last 2 weeks we have had more birthdays and baseball games than I can count.
(Don't ask me to try, I am too drowsy from my allergy meds)

This past weekend Koby played in a theme tournament called the "Hawaiian Hitfest"
They encourage you to decorate your dugout and we went with a Hukilau theme
I also made a paper mache volcano and it smoked and erupted ;)
Koby received the MVP medal, I couldn't have been more proud of him!

On Friday night Mike and I went to the Sugarland concert and had a BLAST.
Their music is amazing, they are such talented songwriters and musicians.
With the show they put on I can easily see them being up for Entertainer of the Year in 2009!
Watch the video and see for yourself :)

I feel like scrapbooking is a thing of the past these days, there is simply no time.
I did pick up the new October Afternoon Cherry Hill and Ducks in a Row lines and LOVE it.
It's impossible to create anything that is not adorable with these papers & embellies!
The first layout is one I made specifically for a new paper line's design team call. The requirements are it has to be a layout about yourself. Hopefully I won't bore them to tears LOL

As for Ducks in a Row here is what I created with it.
I just adore these photos of Roman and Mia.

Lastly I have something exciting to share with you!
I am now a "published" scrapbooker
You can see my layout "YeeHaw" in the June issue of Magazine!
Thanks for stopping by, Have a fab Wednesday!
